This will be the last week of school before we go off track. I would like to stay focused this coming week on Macbeth. I would really like to do a walk through with the kids in the middle of the week without their scripts. Because I want them to really focus on this I only want them to complete two spelling assignments. So their homework next week will be a math assignment where they find a unit for distance (i.e. their hand) find its conversion ratio for a standard unit (inches, centimeter) and then use their hand to calculate how long 4 things are in the standard unit, using their conversion ratio. Then they will have a choice of 2 spelling assignments and their vocabulary. We will continue our short stories but I doubt we will finish by the end of the week.
They have their missing work reports again and next Friday they will get their progress report. Thank you so much for your help in bringing attention to their missing work. It was an eye opener for a lot of the kids and they got their work in before it was too late.
