Middle School or Elementary?
When I lived in Logan I taught sixth grade in a middle school. That's right, sixth grade is a middle school grade in a lot of places. Do you think sixth grade should be in the elementary school or the middle school? Why or why not? You can write about maturity level, extracurricular opportunities, negative peer influences, school size, and/or teacher specialization of subjects; or anything else that comes to your mind.

I know a lot of us want 6th grade to be in middle school, but in reality I think we're to immature and not organized enough for 7 different classes. Sixth grade is a good time for us to get a slap of organization and responsibility. And middle school with the 7 classes... I know that would be difficult for me. Lockers and locker combinations would also be a little challenging.
I think we need as much time in elementary school as possible.

6th grade i think should be in middle school because there are grades and you rotate from class to class therefore 6th grade should be in middle school
I think sixth grade should still be in an elementary school because we still need at least a little time to prepare for middle school because it will be a little harder than sixth grade elementary and I would at least like one more year to have recess with my friends. I probably wouldn't be prepared yet because it might be harder then it is in elementary but it might be the same level in middle school.
All I'm really saying is I love my recess and I think it should be in elementary. :)

I really liked your blog. And to answer your question I think that 6th grade should be in elementary school. you know like a preparation for 6th grade. so maybe just a little tweak in the schedule, like more PE time. I think that the kids would really appreciate that. So far I've had a really fun time in 6th grade so far I hope it stays that way. so......... BYE!

I think that if it was in middle school it would be cool to have lockers, and you would have a lot of friends cause there would be a lot of people in the school . But you wouldn't have recess. And you would have better lunches to and more choices of lunch.

When I lived in Missouri, the 6th grade was in middle school. I don't know if it should be in middle or elementary, but so far, I like it in elementary. If you mean the maturity level for the students, I would say chaotic. Some of the people here act like babies. But kids are kids. I,m okay with the school size but when I got here I was really confused. Luckily I got the hang of finding my way around.

I think that 6th grade should be in elementary school. There will be enough peer pressures for all of you in 7th grade. In fact, I think 7th grade should be put in elementary school. I guess I just want my little girl to stay little forever.

I think sixth grade should be in elementary school because when sixth grade is in middle school they sort of teach you things that you learn in elementary school, and sometimes they treat you like your still in elementary school.

I think 6th grade should be in elementary school. When I lived in Arizona 6th grade was in middle school, but 6th shouldn't be in middle because, 11 and 12 years old are to young to be in middle school.

I think it should be in middle school because you get the chance to learn different things and different experiences because if it was in elementary school you would know what you would be doing and you would know everything about so I think it should be in middle school.
i think it should be in elementary school cause middle school you already have enough subjects and classes to get to and in elem.. school you have recess and i like that in middle you have 5 minuets to get to your classes in elementary the teachers tell you when it is time to go to the other classes my grandma works in a middle school as a counselor and help kids with there troubles and she said " some of my kids have a hard time getting to their classes." and another thing kids usually want to get school over with thats just adding another grade and 3 is enough i think.
